Our Promise to Buyers and Sellers
Honest photography, on both sides of the sale.
Most sale animals are judged first from a photo, often by someone deciding whether a long drive is even worth it. Those images carry real weight, and we treat them that way. Our job is to show your animal truthfully and at its genuine best, so the right buyer arrives already confident in what they are coming to see.
To the seller
We promise to showcase your animal and show off its real strengths. We get the shot right in the camera first, with the right light, the right angle, and the patience to wait for the moment, rather than leaning on editing to manufacture something that was not there. A well presented, honestly captured animal is what earns serious interest and sells faster.
Great sale photos start before we ever pick up the camera. A clean, freshly groomed animal, a tidy halter, and a little fly spray make a real difference, and we will walk you through simple prep ahead of your session. The cleaner and more settled your animal is on the day, the less there is to fix later and the stronger and more truthful the final images.
Watermarked or clean, you get both
Every sale gallery is delivered two ways, with a small watermark crediting our work and without it. They are the exact same images. The only difference is the mark, which we always place so it never overlaps or hides the animal. Use whichever you want for your listing, at no extra charge. The watermarked version shows buyers up front that your photos were made professionally and honestly, and it makes our work easy to recognize.
To the buyer
We promise that what you see is what you get. We do our best to get everything right in person so no editing is needed in the first place. That means grooming away dust and dirt before and during the session, keeping ropes and clutter out of the frame where we safely can, and working the angle and light on site so the animal looks its honest best straight out of the camera. The only adjustments we make afterward are to light and color, so the photo matches how the animal looked that day. We will never alter conformation, markings, condition, or anything else you rely on to make a decision. The animal in the photo is the animal you will meet in person.
Verify our work
We never share information about our clients, ever. But if a seller has told you the photos on a listing are ours, you are welcome to confirm it. Send us the image you are looking at along with the seller's name or the details they gave you, and we will tell you whether we photographed that animal for that client and roughly when, whether that was within the last six months, sometime in the past year, or more than a year ago. Timing matters, because an animal can change over time and an older photo may not reflect what you would see today. If a listing is using our images on a sale we never shot, that is something you will want to know before you make the drive.
We hold this line on every equine and livestock sale session, with no exceptions. It is how we protect the trust on both sides, the seller who hires us and the buyer who travels to see what we photographed.
