About Us
Ted and Chloe met in April of 2017. They immediately connected as not only did they have a lot of common interests, but they are both military veterans. She was slowly finding her footing again after some incredibly difficult years, while he was navigating his own struggles during that time. They found strength in each other and overcame it all. They are now each other’s biggest supporters, best friends, as well as husband and wife!
While he had been into photography for decades at that time, she only had a camera phone. During their time together Chloe got into photography more and more. Then in early Oct of 2025 it happened, she took a picture of a squirrel and it was all over. She was hooked. Chloe then began researching cameras and equipment for wildlife photography as well as techniques and anything else that could be used for this new interest. Not long after, she was chasing hummingbirds and kingfishers, and getting results every time out. Very rapidly it became a normal thing for Ted and Chloe to spend a day during the weekend out doing wildlife and nature photography together.
While Ted had been shooting landscapes and places, as well as many other things for years, Chloe started to learn techniques for all the other types of photography categories. Now, they spend days out photographing all kinds of content, instead of just wildlife. During these travels, they would find people trying to capture a moment (usually with a cell phone) with their family and struggling to get everything. They would offer to get the pictures for them on the nicer camera and send them the pictures after regularly. Sadly, many times this offer was met with skepticism and questions about what the catch was. The only thing was, there was no catch. These pictures were shared, free of charge, with the reward being able to share joy with those around them.
Ted had always loved doing still, macro, and urban scene photography, capturing details most people will walk by and never notice. He wanted to get into portrait photography but never found the time to learn. Having started photography around the early 1990’s using film, he would go out and capture the world around him, going to places he found interesting and taking pictures. He has even gone as far as developing his own pictures to make sure they were just right! While in the service, Ted would volunteer to shoot military homecomings and other events for the Air Force. Having shot many of these events over the years, and even a couple weddings for close friends, he has done almost every type of photography imaginable in his decades of photography experience. Now, with Chloe getting involved in the photography community and passing on what she has learned, Ted has started to get more comfortable with learning to do the portrait work he has wanted to do for years.
Together, they now walk hand and hand on a journey of capturing the world around them. Finding joy in being able to capture special moments and immortalizing them with a picture, allowing you to hold onto that moment forever!

This love of sharing the beauty and joy in the world around them is what inspired the creation of Two Perspectives Photography. Two photographers with their own unique perspective on the world, capturing moments as they see them. A business focused on honest photography. No over edited pictures that no longer resemble the original image. No photoshopping someone to look like another person. Just honest moments and stories captured in photographs.
While Chloe’s main love and passion in photography will always be wildlife, she also loves capturing people, especially candidly. She loves to learn all she can about everything around her, applying this to her photography. This has led her to seek out professional instruction, as well as to get involved in the photography community in the area to learn as much as she could as fast as possible.
Sorry for the terrible pic, this was before Chloe had a real camera. It is still one of our favorite pictures together!
